Minimum 5 years experience working in a bindery supporting the print industry

Operating guillotine cutter (and other finishing equipment as required) using guidelines established on job docket – reading, understanding and following written and verbal instructions is crucial

Manually lifting material on / off cutting table

Ability to work independently in a fast paced environment, with minimal supervision, when given a list of tasks to execute

Cooperates with members of the production team and other departments of the company

Dependability regarding punctuality, attendance and accuracy of task execution

Maintain a clean and well-organized work area

Ability to mentor junior members of the production team is an asset

Minimum 3 years experience operating manual and / or automated silk screen presses

Experience in burning screens and mixing inks

Ability to execute tasks established on job docket – reading, understanding and following written and verbal instructions is crucial

Attention to fine detail / excellent hand eye coordination to make subtle adjustments is a must

Dependability regarding punctuality, attendance and accuracy of task execution

Ability to work in a fast paced environment

Maintain a clean and well organized work area

Willing to work on other pieces of equipment as dictated by production needs
